Here are some common questions about the Find What Moves You Program.

Can my child drop out?

Yes, participation is completely voluntary.

How long is the program?

The program is twice a week, for four weeks.

Where are the meetings?

We will hold both online and in-person meetings. View the Upcoming Sessions page to see where specific upcoming sessions will be held.

How many youth will participate in each session?

Each session of the program will include up to fifteen participants and two instructors.

How much does it cost to be in the program??

This program is completely free!

What activities will my child be doing?

We will be doing a wide variety of physical activities. Some examples used in the past programs include kickboxing, dance, yoga, barre, and HIIT (high-intensity interval training). No experience is needed for any of the activities, and all movements will include modifications to allow everyone to participate to the best of their ability.

What themes are discussed?

We will talk about mindfulness, kindness/belonging, self-kindness, self-care, play, body appreciation, and common humanity.

What will my child be doing?

Each session will be introduced with a theme topic (e.g. mindfulness). There will then be included time for a short physical activity sequence, self-reflection, group discussion, relaxation, and much more.
