Here are some common questions about the Find What Moves You Program.

How difficult is the movement?

It can be made as difficult or as easy as you would like. Modifications will be given for each movement.

How long is each session?

The program is 4 weeks long. Each week will include meetings twice a week for 45 minutes.

What kind of movement is involved?

Each week there will be a different activity. Some examples in the past have included kickboxing, dance, yoga, barre, and HIIT (high-intensity interval training). No previous experience with any of these activities are needed.

What kind of participation is required?

Your level of participation is completely voluntary and up to you! Do what feels comfortable.

What should I wear?

Whatever feels comfortable to you! Keep in mind there will be a short movement portion.

What themes are discussed?

We will talk about mindfulness, kindness/belonging, self-kindness, self-care, play, body appreciation, and common humanity.

What will a session be like?

Each session will be introduced with a theme topic (e.g. mindfulness). There will then be included time for a short physical activity sequence, self-reflection, group discussion, relaxation, and much more.
